8 New Photos from Recent Trip to Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Rocky Mountain National Parks Added

Back in August I did a three week backpacking trip in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. When Hurricane Irene trapped me in Denver for a week I decided to make the most of it and spent some time in Rocky Mountain National Park as well. I have added 8 new pictures from this trip with more to come! Enjoy!

Introducing the New Alpenglow Photography Site!

I am proud to introduce the new Alpenglow Photography site. The same photos are still here (with 7 new ones added) but I now have enough on the site that it felt appropriate to better organize my photos by more than just the year they were taken. Along with the Portfolio gallery there are now galleries where you can see my entire collection in one place and another to see newly added photos. I also have several "Collection" galleries which are collections of my exploration into certain aspects of photograhy such as the black and white image or capturing motion on camera. There is also several "Subject" and "Location" galleries. For those that have been asking for me to include more photos closer to my Frenchtown, New Jersey home, be sure to check out my Delaware Valley Gallery (under locations) as I have been working hard on getting more of my local work up. Enjoy!

8 new photos including some locals from New Jersey and Pennsylvania

I hope everyone has survived the long and cold winter. I have been working hard on photoshop while the wintry conditions limited my ability to take new ones. Several people have asked me about posting more local photos so I made a point of working on a few of my favorites. A few are posted in the 2009 and 2010 galleries. Enjoy!

9 New Photos and Gift Cards being sold

Lots of exciting news for Alpenglow Photography! 9 new photos have been added to the 2010 gallery from two trips I took in the fall to the Great Smoky Mountains and to the Niagara Falls as well as Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario. They were both great trips, and I have more photographs to come during the winter from these trips, but I wanted to post some I have gotten the chance to work on.

Second I want to let everyone know (in time for the holiday season) that I am now selling Blank Greeting Cards. You can email me if you would like to order from the site directly or if you are in the Frenchtown area you can go to Grouse Studios where I have a selection there. All cards come with an envelope. The cost is $2.99 per card plus shipping and handling. Sets of 6 are $14.99 plus shipping and handling.

Photos presented at Grouse Studios in Frenchtown

For those that live or will be in the Frenchtown, New Jersey area, several of my photos are now being presented in Grouse Studios. The store is located at 7 Kingwood Drive (Route 12) in Frenchtown and is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11am-5pm. 20 new photographs added to the 2010 gallery!

I'm excited to announce that over the past week I have added 20 new photographs from two trips I've taken this year. The first was a week long trip with my sister to the beautiful canyon country of southern Utah in March. The second was a weekend trip to Rickett's Glen State Park in Pennsylvania and its many waterfalls in July. Enjoy!

Welcome to Alpenglow Photography!

Welcome to Alpenglow Photography! I am very excited to be able to post this site online. It has been quite the process from thinking and dreaming about the idea for months (alright, more like years)to finally taking the dive and spending hours creating this site to look the just the way I wanted it to before making it official. I have two Galleries on my site currently. The Portfolio gallery is where I will place my personal favorites as this site continues to grow. I have added 24 photographs here to start things off. I also have my Oldies but Goodies Gallery that has some of my favorite photographs from when I shot film that have been scanned. I hope you enjoy them. Now that I am done creating the site I can focus on my actual photography and editing more shots for this site. I have taken several great trips during the past year and am excited to post images from my Utah/Arizona trip in March (including Bryce Canyon and the the Paria River Valley), the John Muir Trail which I hiked last summer (in the High Sierras of California), and Rickett's Glen State Park (a little closer to home but still stunning with its myriad of waterfalls) which I visted last weekend. Contact me at contact@AlpenglowPhotos.com to be notified when these galleries are posted.
